Date: 22-10-07

Pracha Chitrsudhipol (middle from left), Kalasin Governor, and Stephen Carlisle (middle from right), President of General Motors Southeast Asia Operations and Thailand, General Motors Thailand and Chevrolet Sales Thailand, congratulate the executive team of KAS Automobile Co., Ltd., including Charoen Thangpromphan (far left), President, and Chakkrapong Thangpromphan (far right), Managing Director, on the grand opening of the 99th Chevrolet dealership for General Motors in Thailand.

“During the last 8 years of Chevrolet operations, we have invested heavily in Thailand to meet one of our primary objectives: to provide superior customer satisfaction,” said Mr. Carlisle. “Today is a proud day for Chevrolet as we continue our commitment to provide our Thai customers with a variety of safe and reliable vehicles and a dealership network to ensure that they can reach our service wherever they are on Thailand map.” The 100 million Baht, state-of-the-art Chevrolet Kalasin facility includes a 1,659 square meter service area, and a reception area and vehicle test areas that cover seven rais of land, or approximately 12,000 square meters. The facility was designed to meet GM’s highest standards and is staffed with more than 50 highly-trained personnel to offer all Chevy owners its world-class service. Customers’ vehicles can be serviced by GM’s highly trained engineers and technicians who can also provide on-road assistance to customers when required. Customers will also benefit from the KAS Automobile’s history of excellence in the local market.

KAS Automobile was appointed as the Chevrolet Dealership and Service Center for Kalasin and Roi-Et in 2004, and for Maha Sarakam, Pak Chong District in Nakhon Ratchasima and Thanyaburi district in Pathumthani Province in 2005 and 2007 respectively. To date, KAS Automobile has sold more than 1,300 Chevrolet vehicles.
