Chevy ‘Gas Giveaway’ Shows Auto Maker in Tune with Consumer Needs

Bangkok – In response to growing public concern about fuel prices, Chevrolet offers new car buyers either Bt40,000 worth of free gas or rock bottom interest rates on selected models throughout July.
With the sky-high price of oil impacting everybody, Chevrolet offers a pocket-friendly package of incentives for motorists purchasing selected Chevrolet models before July 31st, 2008. Chevy customers nationwide who place a 25 percent down payment on any one of the models featured in this month’s promotional campaign can choose between low interest rates of only 0.49 percent over 48 months or Bt40,000 worth of free gasoline.
“The astronomical price of oil is the number one consideration for anyone buying a car these days. Realizing this, we have rolled out this special July promotion to help Chevy owners where they are being hit hardest: in their wallets. This unique promotion means the average motorist will not have to pay for gas for at least six months. I am confident the quality of our vehicles and these attractive incentives are a winning combination for our clients,” said John Thomson, Vice President for Sales, Marketing and Aftersales of Chevrolet Sales (Thailand).
These promotional privileges are available to customers who place a 25 percent down payment on Chevrolet Colorado (except CNG model), Chevrolet Optra (except bi-fuel CNG system model) or Chevrolet AVEO. These customers will automatically qualify for either Bt40,000 worth of gasoline free or a reduced interest rate of only 0.49 percent over 48 months. As an added reward, Colorado buyers will also receive a Bluetooth i-Call hands-free set worth Bt4,815.
Diesel drivers have also not been forgotten. Anyone purchasing a Chevrolet Captiva SUV (Diesel) before July 31st, 2008 will also qualify for Bt40,000 worth of free fuel.
