Internship Program

Internship Program :
This program offers full-time students on-the-job experience with assignments lasting between 10 and 12 weeks. Students typically participate in the Intern Program during their semester break. You will be exposed to real-world work situations related to your academic program and have an opportunity to polish your professional business skills. In addition, you'll receive competitive compensation for your efforts.

Program Requirements :
You must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor's or Master's degree at an accredited university. In most cases, you must have completed at least the freshman year. We also ask that you present evidence of academic excellence and leadership potential and have established personal goals leading towards a career in Engineering or Business.

CGIT Program

This program offers local permanent placement to selected new graduates from local Thai and/or non-Thai Universities/colleges and runs for a period of 12 months.

Program Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Business or related field
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Business or related field
  • Grade point average (GPA) 2.70 - 3.00 up

  • Selected candidates will be hired as General Motors (Thailand) Limited employees, based on the greenhorn structure and will enjoy other benefits of General Motors

  Fixed Bonus The company pays an annual fixed bonus.
  Variable   Bonus   The company pays a variable bonus based on the company's performance.
  Housing  Allowance   The company pays a 10% up-country allowance, plus 200 baht with a minimum of 1200 baht per month for those at GM Thailand.
  Relocation   Allowance The company will pay a relocation allowance from their home to Rayong.
  Tuition  Assisted   Studies The company will support those employees wishing to pursue higher education.
  Life Insurance Employees receive 24 their monthly base salary.
  Accident Insurance Employees receive 24 their monthly base salary.

  Annual Medical   Check up Employees are eligible for an annual physical examination after successfully completing probation.
  Vehicle Purchase   Plan Employees can purchase a Chevrolet Zafira vehicle at a special price for themselves or their family, as well as have access to low-interest financing through GMAC, GM's partner finance company.
  Air-Conditioned   Transportation The company provides air-conditioned transportation for employees to and from their homes.

  Provident Fund Employees are eligible, after successfully completing probation, to participate in the Provident Fund, saving up to 5% with the company matching 5%.
