"I have been working with General Motors in Supply Chain Department in 1999 , At that time , I saw a lot of foreigners who came to support GMTH during a start up phase and I talked to myself that "Someday , I hope to have a chance like them". I started my career in Supply Chain team where I have plenty of opportunities to do and learn many things. It's always open here for everyone who would like to learn more. I keep both working & learning momentum toward my goal in the past 6 years. I finally got an ISP assignment in Shanghai China, as a Regional Supply Chain Launch Manager since September last year.

Start working in Shanghai , this is a new challenge for me in both working & life experiences. In my new role, I have to lead and coordinate with people across the region, and also a lot of interaction with global team too. Here in regional office, I start learning to manage a real international business. I got a chance to travel throughout the region and meet a lot people, this is a wonderful knowledge for me to see things by myself which it's better than reading a thousand books. I realized that GM's Supply Chain in the AP region is a lot more complicate than what I thought before and even more in the global. It's make me more mature in this business.

Working in a rapid growth region, I have to be alert and quick in this environment, otherwise I won't be able to catch the speed. This is a great lesson learn for me to develop my proficiency .I keep talking to myself that I must be a professional. Talking about different culture , I enjoy adapting myself to the new environment & culture too , here I learnt that understanding the difference of culture is key successful for me. I'm very proud to be a part of a great & successful team here in AP region.

I have a high confident that I definitely will be able to apply an experience that I got during my oversea assignment to help GMTH when I repatriate to GMTH. Lastly , I would like to take this opportunity to thank you GMTH top management to give an invaluable experience , as same as my folks in GMTH who are key persons who made my dream come true , without a good support , working as a team and your outstanding performance , I won't have it.
