Preparation of accounting month-end book closing on structural cost (i.e. set-up a accrual)
Responsible with year-end transactions relevant to expenses accrual
Communicate with cost centers on budget performance by reporting and meeting (regularly)
Perform cost/benefits analysis (NPV) analysis and lease vs. buy analysis per cost center request
Prepare Consumable and Scrap reports and provide to all concerned cost centers on a monthly basis
Prepare Cost per Vehicle and Cost per Hours and submit to VP-Manufacturing on a monthly basis
Liaise with plant/area managers for cost control and financial performance
Support the Budgetary training sessions
Facilitate Profit Council activities in implementing saving initiatives. Also, provide financial analysis on profit council initiatives (cost savings initiatives)
Facilitate the Employee Suggestion Program on the financial reward quantification portion
Approve ePRs of cost centers
Develop / update SOS of the Plant Analysis team
Note: Plant cover Manufacturing, Purchasing, Finance, HR, and IS&S depts.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCES AND ATTRIBUTES:
Bachelor – Accounting/Finance/Economics
Minimum 2 years experience in plant finance activities
Good knowledge of financial analysis and plant accounting
Have exposure to the SAP CO Module
Good analytical ability where problems are complicated
Understanding of automotive industry, manufacturing process is optional
Have exposure to the SAP CO Module
Strong computer skill in Microsoft Office applications particularly in MS Excel and Power Point
Fluent in both verbal and written English
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Excellent analytical skills able to independently analyze problems and provide solutions especially where problems are unusual and difficult
Ability to prioritize assignments/projects and multi-task within time constraints
Familiar with manufacturing plant environment

This function is an essential part of General Motors purchasing activities in project integrate. It will implement the agreed upon WWP & L processes for the Manufacturing, Facility in Rayong. The Purchasing Specialist will manage the procurement of component part in accordance to WWP and APO regional requisition on Quality, Service & Price.
Identify and select qualified suppliers for local purchases.
Continually analyze the local supply base determining qualified sources capable of supporting GM operations locally, regionally or internationally.
Implement Purchasing policies and procedures for APO WWP & L.
Negotiate contracts and develop suitable analytical tools intended to make supplier selection as objective as possible.
Manage quality and service problems.
Arrange of special events as required (example: tour, meetings, company social events).
Telephone answering for the Human Resources.
Administrative support of other departments as required.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCES AND ATTRIBUTES:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.

- Attend DRBFM and Co-lead DRBTR with vehicle validation engineer.
- Review of E2 Engineering Work Orders for Validation sufficiency.
- Develop Program Regulatory Requirements Compliance Summary with type approval engineer.
- Support Development of Program PVCL with RPVM.
- Representative and report Program Validation in PVT Meeting.
- Facilitate peer reviews, where appropriate, of LADV plan to ensure completeness and robustness.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES:
- Education background in automotive, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
- Widely knowledge of automotive engineering (cross functional).
- Fluency in the English (spoken and written).
- Minimum 3 years experience in vehicle project coordination.
- Experience in the automotive industry in product engineering, test and validation areas.
- Experience in GM engineering processes especially global validation & GVDP highly desirable.
- Good communication in transnational’s corporation working environment.
